The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris by Jenny Colgan
It's bringing back memories of my 2 trips to Paris. I have the US edition so the cover is different than the one showing on her website.
About 2/3's done with A Burnable Book. It finally started to pick up about half-way through.
I picked that up from the library but I have to read it on my lap top (didn't notice that that was the only e-version I could access). Still cannot get into it.
Still reading my Nora Robert's trilogy as well as a few others in between (Letters from Skye which I thought was better than most). Waiting for more library books to come in.

I really enjoyed A Burnable Book.
I've just started The Four Streets by Nadine Dorries, a fictional story based on the author's life in Liverpool in the 1950s. The author is a controversial MP.

Finished A Burnable Book and added my review to Vanessa's original thread. I ended up liking it, but felt it had a couple of flaws. I've loaned my Nook to my husband so he can read The Rosie Project (one of my faves for the past several months), so I'm cleaning off my TBR shelf. Currently reading Queen's Gambit (it's not grabbing me) and Best Served Cold (a fat fantasy novel--890 pages) and I'm tearing through it.

Just finished The English Girl by Margaret Leroy, set in Vienna just before the Anschluss. Mixed feelings about this one - it's very nicely written but on the "lite" side. I would have liked a bit more depth in the way of political background and character development. Well done for what it is, but rather unsatisfying would be my personal verdict.

Finished Count Vronsky's Daughter. What a nail biting, surprise filled finish. Recommended.
At home with a good book and the cat...

I found this book rather depressing myself, not sure if I'd read her again.
