Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Upcoming Historical Novel Society Conferences

Post by MLE (Emily Cotton) » Fri January 3rd, 2014, 5:16 pm

I was just over at the website and noticed that they have announced dates and venues for 2014 and 2015.

This year will be in London of September 5-7
2015 will be in Denver June 26-28.

If I can, I'm going to go to both. The IF involves eldercare for my Mom, whose 'shelf life' as she puts it, may expire before either date.

Glad you checked it out. Yes, I'm happy to say Denver did end up getting the 2015 conference after some last minute maneuvers.

I am serving on the Board for the 2015 Conference as Venue Chair and look forward to welcoming HNS to my hometown!
