I've been busy buying a few books and reading about 20th century events. I've been retired for 5 years but am making a comeback: teaching History 12 in the fall. I'm so excited! I would like to ask if you can recommend any historical fiction taking place in Europe and America from 1914-1991. I would like to offer a reading list to my students. I am already reading Margaret McMillan's books (nf) and re-reading The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. However, I thought it would be a good idea to suggest good hf books/series. Thank you! :)

I cant buy new books 'cause I'm moving.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
