Things I decided to get...

Villette by Charlotte Bronte
Bleak House by Charles Dickens
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
- "Into Battle"

Just received the 1954 copy I ordered of Ian Serrallier's acclaimed translation of Beowulf. This probably fits in at about teenage level, where Rosemary Sutcliff's is ideal for younger children. Cracked up when I opened the parcel, though - whatever were they thinking when they designed that cover?
