What are you reading? December 2013
Bailed on Benedict Hall after about 50 pages. I did not want a book more centered around the wealthy son who was going to be all kinds of psychotic badness and raping the maids. Just started The Seventeenth Stair by Barbara Paul AKA Rosalind Laker. I did not know she wrote gothic like stuff under another name.
At home with a good book and the cat...

Salem's Lot by Stephen King. Bring Up the Bodies is waving to me from the shelf but I am ignoring it at the moment!

Blood Crows, by Simon Scarrow, in which Cato and Macro return to Britannia, nearly 10 years after they took part in the Claudian Invasion. This time their brief is to defeat once and for all British chieftain Caratacus, head of an ongoing British resistance movement.
Still interspersing my reading with the further adventures of glamorous, indomitable and outrageous poster girl of jazz-era Melbourne, the Hon. Phryne Fisher. Great fun.

Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
