No dresses involved, but I was a bit taken aback by the cover of John Henry Clay's The Lion and the Lamb. Love the atmospheric photo of Hadrian's Wall, but whatever that sword is (medieval? later?) one thing it sure isn't is Late Roman. Still looking forward to reading the novel, though. :D
