Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

I'm reading Martin Farrell and the Passing Bells. On my Kindle I have N. Gemini Sasson's Owain Glendower novel, can't remember the title.

Finished my commuting book, Native Tongue by Carl Hiaasen--a light tale of corruption and environmentalists in the Florida Keys. Hiaasen is reading comfort food--predictable plot, quirky characters and a strong dash of the absurd. Basically, if you've read one Hiaasen book, you've read them all, but I like the way he handles his female characters. Continuing to reread The Hobbit and will probably start on A Dance with Dragons (Christmas gift!)
