Regine Pernoud is the historian responsible for starting the tale that Geoffrey of Anjou went on the 2nd crusade (he didn't, he stayed at home). Ralph Turner then repeated it!
Well I was interested in reading that book, but maybe not so much now!

I'm halfway through with it right now. I've got an interest in French history thanks to studying aboard in Paris 8 years ago.
I checked this biography out from our library collection from where I work. I wanted to get to 'know' Blanche beyond what I read in The Sister Queens by Sophie Perinot.
EC, I didn't know about that! Pernoud wrote other books, I saw.

PS. That was supposed to be "I was interested", not wasn't, but if it has errors, I'm not interested now.

We are strong and not afraid to die
