Am I the only one who loathed that book and has no interest in the series?
Anyhoo, a few hours to a huge library sale today. They promise 35,000 titles and 2500' of space to browse them in. Let's see what long lost treasures I find today

I haven't seen any trailers for it, but I'd better dig my copy of the book out and try to read it. With that and G R R Martin's A Storm of Swords to read before the TV series, I will be kept busy!!

I've never read the books because watching the mini-series of Pillars totally turned me off to reading. Still, it's something historical my husband is willing to watch with me so I'll sit through it anyday of the week.
So my sweetheart offered to buy me any book I wanted at B&N last night. Don't you know that I couldn't decide so I got the BBC History magazine. First time I've been able to find it since April. Really disappointed because the August issue looks very interesting!!
