Latest Book Giveaways

Post by Misfit » Mon February 14th, 2011, 2:14 am

I thought it might be fun to have a thread where members could post links to giveaways for historical fiction books they've spotted around the net. Goodreads always has new ones going on as does Librarything. I know bloggers and authors use the member announcement threads to mention giveaways, but often I spot them around the blogosphere and would love to share the opportunity with others - especially those open to international entrants which are harder to find.

I've just spotted Galway Bay by Mary Pat Kelly over at Goodreads, details here. Closes on Feb. 26, 2011.

If this thread is successful, we'll keep it stickied so it stays on top.

I've won a fair share through both Goodreads and Librarything but they do hope that you will review the book afterwards.

Brandy Purdy is offering ARCs of her upcoming book, The Tudor Throne. US residents only. Below is the link. Although the post says the person must have an established blog, I've exchanged some emails with her and she said a blog isn't necessary as long as the person will post a review somewhere (Amazon, B&N, here, or any other appropriate book discussion forum) and include the information regarding the UK edition.
