If we were offered the choice between an exotic holiday somewhere abroad, maybe the Maldives, or (by the miracle of time travel) somewhere/some time in the past, wouldn't most of us choose the latter? Both attractive propositions but one of them much more likely to fire your imagination. There's your answer!
