As a gift to myself i bought the last fe Chadwick novels i have not bought mysel already. Lady of the English, Shadows and Strongholds, Shields of Pride and To Defy a King. Now i get to reread them and looking forward to it.

Couple of recent snags from Amazon Vine.

Sister Queens by Julia Fox and The Rebel Wife by Taylor M. Polites (post Civil War southern gothic I'm told).
At home with a good book and the cat...

I got the UK edition from the library a while back and thought it was very good, though I felt that it was stronger on Catherine of Aragon than on Juana.

She's talking about "Sister Queens" from Julia Fox, a novel about the princesses of Provence and you're talking about "Sister Queens" about Catherine of Aragon and Juana, Queen of Castile, very confusing.

Now I'm confused. I was speaking of Sister Queens by Julia Fox, which is a nonfiction book about Catherine of Aragon and Juana, Queen of Castile:
