Book Shopping Today (2011 edition)
A couple of weeks ago I ordered a used copy of The Morning Gift by Diana Norman - was lucky enough to find a paperback copy for about $10 (including shipping) - and it arrived today. I know we think it might be reissued later this year, but just in case it doesn't (and anyway, this one was still cheaper!). This is the last of the three books of hers that I really wanted (I already have Daughter of Lir and Fitzempress Law)
Have just pre-ordered on Ammy:
Recipe for Life by Nicky Pellegrino
Witch Light by Susan Fletcher (previously called Corrag in the UK)
Murder on Lexington Avenue by Victoria Thompson
The Poison Tree by Erin Kelly
I quite liked The Poison Tree, and I've ordered the first of the Elly Griffiths books. I am starting to build up an absolutely huge TBR pile....I'm thinking Kindle these days!

Finally made it to the new bookstore. Lovely place, friendly owners. I picked up the following:
Silas Marner by George Eliot
The Mayor of Casterbridge by Thomas Hardy
The Lion In Winter by James Goldman
Trade Winds by M.M. Kaye
Brideshead Revisted by Evelyn Waugh
No Plot, No Problem by Chris Baty.
Also had them order The Cake Mix Doctor Bakes Gluten Free by Anne Byrn for me.
