I can remember someone I worked with having a baby and on their notes it said 'She is a redhead', so it obviously has some significance. I believe redheads are more likely to haemorrhage.
Well, he definitely doesn't look like Charlie! (James Hewitt has red hair! ;) :) )
Funnily enough, watching a clip of Harry on the news last night, now that he's a bit older he is beginning to look a little bit like Charles, although both boys seem to take after Diana's family more than the Royals.

Detailed explanation here, though it may make your eyes glaze over--
Thanks for that -- very interesting! And it didn't even make my eyes glaze over, as I'm interested in that sort of thing.
They also say their hair turns white instead of gray.
There is no such thing as "gray" hair; everyone's hair turns white with age. However, for people with darkish hair, the white hair mixed in with the dark hair has an appearance of "gray." For redheads, the effect is usually more of a yellowish white.
I am brunette but have always had auburn highlights and I inherited the redhead complexion and sensitivity to sun (burn very easily).
I am the same way, although I don't know where I inherited my skin from, since no one in my family has skin quite like mine. I've always griped that I got redheaded skin without the benefit of red hair!

I can't see any resemblance at all to Charles. However, I think William looks a lot like his uncles - Andrew and Edward. He looked a lot like Diana when he was little but now he's becoming more of a Windsor.

They also say their hair turns white instead of gray.
My paternal grandmother had red hair when she was young, and I distinctly remember her with gray hair, not white. I like to think I inherited just the slightest tinge of red from her. When I was younger and spent a lot of time in the sun during the summer, my sun-bleached hair did look slightly reddish. The gray threads intermingled in my hair now seem to be a very pale silver, perhaps white that looks silver when it catches the light.
