Knossos, the Bronze Age, with Rodney Castelden's HNF Knossos: Temple of the Goddess. It was published around the same time as his scholarly book The Knossos Labyrinth, but has the same information and is available for a fraction of the price.

I'm in Persia, in the 11th C studying to become a Physician. The only thing is, is that Christians are not allowed (by the church) to study here, so I have disguised myself as a Jew.
