I had an offline query from a friend of a friend about this, and thought I'd post here since I know a number of you have blogs. It might make a good reference point for some of the rest of us, since I find I get to these via a member's post.
If you have one, can you post your link and suggest any others that your particularly like?
Thanks!

Once in there you will see more references to a list of every blog imaginable that is out there... hope this helps your friend

Sarah's Reading the Past is good.
There are also any number of good HF blogs here amongst our members.

If it's for historical fiction across the board, I'd suggest (and this is just 3 off the top of my head)
Amy's Passages to the Past
Marg's Historical Tapestry.
Tanzanite's blog - gah, where's my memory when I need it, but I'm sure it'll be posted somewhere here.
Oh and 4. Sarah's (Ariadne) Reading the Past blog.
Carla Nayland's blog. That often has excellent book reviews.
Mine isn't about HF per se, although I talk about it on and off. It's more about my little corner of history and the goings on around and about.

What's your friend mainly interested in? Reviews, giveaways, any particular country or period, history as well or just HF....?
E.g., off the top of my head, Historical Tapestry (http://historicaltapestry.blogspot.com/) has a wide range of news and HF reviews, Amy's Passages to the Past (http://www.passagestothepast.com/) does lots of great giveaways, Tanzanite's Shelf (http://shelfandstuff.blogspot.com/) covers new and forthcoming releases as well as reviews, Elizabeth Chadwick (http://livingthehistoryelizabethchadwick.blogspot.com/) and Susan Higginbotham/boswellbaxter (http://susandhigginbotham.blogspot.com/) post lots of interesting historical facts about the periods they write in, and Gabriele Campbell (http://lostfort.blogspot.com/) covers German, Scottish and Roman history, often with photos from her travels.
EC mentioned my blog, Carla Nayland Historical Fiction (http://www.carlanayland.blogspot.com/). I aim to post a detailed book review (nearly always HF) every couple of weeks or so, plus posts on history (usually my main era, early medieval Britain). You can find the reviews using the 'review' tag, and I also archive them on my website (http://www.carlanayland.org/reviews/index.htm).

I also have a blog, and though I read pretty much everything, I tend to focus on historical fiction:

I really like this blog for book ideas.
http://writingren.blogspot.com/
This is good for French history, especially some that is not widely known to the average person.
http://blog.catherinedelors.com/
And this for my beloved French history revolving around the decadence that is Versailles.
