The technology to dye her, her hair, her dress, and even drop in a new background still surprises me. They're getting better at it, at least. I do notice, her sleeve got fitted for the white-dress shot, but it's very loose on her thin arm in the blue.

True! They did a good job with the sleeve on the white dress.

I can't even tell what the background is supposed to be on the blue dress cover though.

My first impression was a folding screen. Now I'm not so sure...

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

The white on the outside of the man's sleeve appears to be a 16th to early 17th century slashed-sleeve doublet--while the woman's gown is plainly regency.

If I read the book description correctly, it's a medieval setting.

Did they go back in time?

We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Also the blurb on the cover implies she's a kitchen maid. Wrong on so many counts.
