Via Pigeonhole I’m reading Lady MacBethad by Isabelle Schuler, a retelling of MacBeth.
I’m also reading City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert, which is set in New York during the 1940s in the world of the theatre. Vivian, the main character, is quite a girl!

Finished from the library: Enola Holmes and the Black Barouche by Nancy Springer (Kids "Enola Holmes Mystery" #7)
Started: Murder at the Breakers by Alyssa Maxwell ("Gilded Newport Mystery" #1)
Emma Cross, 2nd cousin of the Vanderbilts and reporter for a Newport newspaper, becomes an amateur sleuth when her brother is accused of murder. I checked out all of the books in the series (so far) from the library.

I’m just about to start The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman, the second book in the Thursday Murder Club series. It’s for my local reading group. We thought we’d read something light after ‘Wilding’!
I’m also reading via Pigeonhole A Quiet Life by Ethan Joella about three people who are suffering some sort of loss and who connect in some way.

- Preferred HF: I like a series the best - more to look forward to after one book ends. Masters of Rome, The Century Trilogy, & the Outlander series are some of my favorites.

I just started Gai-Jin by James Clavell. Never read a Clavell book before a couple years ago. Now they are some of my favorites. And nice & long!

I'm about to start "The Rising Tide" by Ann Cleeves, not a historical but set on Holy Island, a place with lots of history.
