Leaves are falling and it'll be time for turkey this month! Share your reads.

From the library: Henrietta Maria by Leanda de Lisle (NF)
Note: the subtitles and covers for the UK and US editions are different.

I’m reading The Silk House by Kayte Nunn, a dual timeline story set in the 18thC and the present day with a witchcraft theme. Very good so far.

I’m also reading via Pigeonhole The Prisoner by B A Paris, a contemporary thriller.

I'm reading Terciel and Elinor by Garth Nix.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

I’m now reading The Weather Woman by Sally Gardner, historical fantasy set in the early 1800s about a woman who can predict the weather.

I’m also reading via Pigeonhole Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult, a contemporary family drama come mystery.

Started: The King's Assassin: the Secret Plot to Murder King James I by Benjamin Woolley (NF)
The author investigates whether or not George Villiers, Duke of Buckingham, plotted to murder King James of England. The book is the basis for the forthcoming historical drama "George and Mary"
