Old Louisiana by Lyle Saxon (NF)
Reprint of a classic Louisiana state history book published in 1929. I've read and own Saxon's Fabulous New Orleans (1928).

Wolf Hall - finally. Have had the hardback sitting on my TBR stack forever. I finally broke down & bought the audiobook. The reader, Ben Miles, has very distinctive voices for each main character. His Thomas More certainly sounds villianish. It's amazing how many "character" names I recognize from previous Tudor historical fiction reading!

Finished: Stephen and Matilda's Civil War by Matthew Lewis (NF)
An accessible history chronicling what happened between King Stephen and Empress Matilda and how Anarchy became the catch all term for a turbulent time in medieval English history. I bought this book directly from the publisher.
Next read (from the library): The Rightful Queen by Isabelle Steiger
The 2nd installment in the "Paths of Lantistyne" series, published summer 2020. It's the sequel to The Empire's Ghost, published 2017. I didn't realize the author had written a sequel!

I’m reading Highland Lioness by Kristin Gleeson, historical fiction set in the Scottish court of 1559. It’s a review book.
I’m also reading via Pigeonhole City of Tears by Kate Mosse, sequel to the Burning Chambers, historical fiction set in the 16thC.
I’m listening to 33 Women by Isabel Ashdown, a psychological thriller set in a women’s commune.
Hope everyone is staying safe and well.

Hi everyone
I am currently reading "The Fox" by Buttler and I am charmed by this almost-masterpiece.
One question though, does anyone know the writer Philip Remus whose books I have been reading on amazon? Here is a link to one of his books.

Hi everyone
I am currently reading "The Fox" by Buttler and I am charmed by this near- masterpiece. He is an extremely promising writer, at least when it comes to HF.
One question though, does anyone know of Philip Remus, the writer? I can find his books solely on Amazon.
But unfortunaltery he is like a ghost, I cannot find a viable email address so I can contact him.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
