I’m reading Endless Skies by Jane Cable, a contemporary story with a hint of the supernatural.

I’m now reading The Likely Resolutions of Oliver Clock by Jane Riley, a contemporary story set in a funeral parlour! It’s a little quirky and quite humorous.

I’ve joined a competition on Pigeonhole for The Evening and the Morning by Ken Follett. It’s the prequel to Pillars of Earth which I so enjoyed reading a few years ago. It’s just the first three staves and then 50 lucky readers get their names picked out of a hat to read the rest. The first stave is being released at 6pm this evening.

Finished Mortal Arts by Anna Lee Huber ("Lady Darby Mysteries" #2)
Having been to Scotland twice, it adds to my reading pleasure of the series. I've got the other books in the series on hold from the library; I'll get them as they're returned and quarantined. No rush!
I believe there were forum members who've read the Lady Darby novels and enjoyed them. The latest and #8 installment A Stroke of Malice was released in April.

The author has more novels planned in the coming years!

I've just ordered "A Study in Death" in the Lady Darby series, the only one which is available in the UK at a "regular" price. I've often looked at this series but they don't seem to be widely available here.

Finished one of our board icon books - Shogun. It was amazing, non-stop action & history. The audiobook narration was excellent I thought. Probably would not have read (ok, listened to) it without this message board, so thanks!
