Discuss My Name is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliveira here. (I know it's a little early, but it's September somewhere, and I may not be thinking of it tomorrow.)

I've been dying to talk about this book. I'll be interested to see what others have to say.

I just finished the second chapter. I am totally drawn in by the characters.

I can barely put this book down. Just finished the tenth chapter. There's something still and calming about this book.

Fortunately, I had today off, too, and was able to finish this incredible book. I want to discuss it, but don't want to be a spoiler for those who haven't read it.

I sobbed the last fifty pages. I can't remember the last time I was so engrossed with characters that I cried for them.

It really packs a lot of emotional whallop. My heart just broke for the soldiers and the poor medical treatment they received.

Yeah but the medical stuff was spot on. I mean she did an awesome job of explaining how horrible the conditions and the surgeons were.

Wow. I thought we would get a lot more discussion out of this novel?

Did people not enjoy it?
