Hurrah! I'll be inspired to read it again, it's been ten years since I did :)

I haven't had a copy in years, no, decades. But it won't be hard to find one.

It's been probably over 10 years since I've read GWTW so I would really love to re-read it.... unfortunately, April is going to be much too busy. I'll probably be lucky to squeeze in a couple of short books.

But I would love to read others' thoughts and probably put in my two cent's worth. :)

*snort*

No, too much is changed/condensed. You can try though and see if we catch you or not :)

I have the book and plan on starting it the last week of this month. It's been nearly 30 years since I read it, so it might be like reading a new book after all this time.

You know, after I posted my comment last night I took my copy off the shelf and thumbed through it and re-read the scene where Rhett proposes to Scarlett. *sigh* I think I may have to re-read the book this summer. It's actually been about 20 years since I've read it. My first three readings of GWTW were fairly close together -- my teens, early 20s and mid-20s -- so it will be interesting to see how I respond to the book now that I have so much more of life under my belt...... I have no doubt that I will still love it, but probably in a very different way.

I have the entire movie musical score on CD, so I may listen to that while I read to help set the atmosphere. :)

Michy you can always come back and add your thoughts as you reread it when you have time this summer.

Should we create a phrase for when someone is "caught" referencing the movie? :D
