Interest in HF: I love history. I live in a town where truth is stranger than fiction, where ordinary people rose to live courageous lives knowing the danger and hardship. I think my country would benefit to remember them and what motivated them.
Favourite HF book: Steal Away Home
Preferred HF: Right now it is pre-civil war America, but that changes. History is fascinating

Fellow readers and writers. I am new to novel writing. I am a magazine article writer. However my hometown has a story that is both tragic and beautiful and I think it worth telling. What sources do you reccomend for researching/time traveling to this era?
