Bring up the Bodies, by Hilary Mantel

Brilliant review of Mantel's sequel to Wolf Hall in the Guardian by Margaret Atwood, who cleverly manages to discuss the book and Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn and Cromwell without giving away anything major in the way of the actual story.

"Historical fiction has many pitfalls, multiple characters and plausible underwear being only two of them".
