Just saw this article about Margaret's grandson:
Face of Lord Darnley revealed - Mary Queen of Scots' 'lusty and well proportioned' husband http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016 ... ty-and-we/

Preferred HF: Any time period/location. Timeslip, usually prefer female POV. Also love Gothic melodrama.

Great, James has gone off to war and we have first person Margaret telling us all about the battles.

Was James IV's body desecrated and stripped at the order of K of A?

Henry made Catherine regent when he went on campaign in France and Flanders in 1513. While Henry was away, it was up to Catherine to supervise England’s defense when Scotland invaded. Ultimately, the Scots were defeated at the Battle of Flodden and Catherine sent Henry the bloodstained coat of the defeated and dead King James IV of Scotland. You do know I am a bit of a royalty nut. I like my royals long dead. My husband has been very tolerant of me visiting dead royals when we travel in Europe. ;)

I thought some on this thread would find this a bit ironic.
