She should write about a fictional land populated with water spirits, and mermaids.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

That has been in mythology for a long time. I meant French water spirits/ mermaids.

Yes I know I was joking. I agree. As I said earlier, if she's obsessed with Melusine, why not write a book about her?

Hilary Mantel has Cromwell mention the "legend" of Elizabeth Woodville and Melusine in Wolf Hall.

Not exactly a historical figure (she is in the Iliad)... Thetis, the sea nymph.

She is a significant character in Madeline Miller's Song of Achilles - don't know if you've read that or not, though.

Not yet, but I will. Was just suggesting another 'historical' water lady for PG to write about.

Well, according to Jean D'Arras' version of the Melusine legend, Melusine was one of triplets - maybe PG could make use of her sisters Melior and Palatyne for a change?

There were three water spirits? Might be more interesting as myth/ legend re-telling.
