The first historical fiction book I ever read was Philippa Gregory's The Constant Princess and because it launched my never ending interest in all things English Monarchy, it will always have a special place in my heart. :D

My favourite and the first PG book I read was TOBG, followed by The Boleyn Inheritance I enjoyed reading them both. The rest I have been disappointed with. What saved The Red Queen was Philippa's take on Thomas Stanley-What a villain.

Now I am waiting for The Cousins War and LOTR.

I liked The Boleyn Inheritance the best.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

So far, my favourite is The Other Boleyn Girl, although I very much enjoyed The Wise Woman.

Yes I had to think about that one too! ;)

I've only read TOBG so far, which I credit with re-starting my love for HF, and I really enjoyed it.

The Queen's Fool and The Boleyn Inheritance are my favorites in her 'royals' books. I also really liked Earthly Joys and A Respectable Trade.
THE QUEEN'S VOW available on June 12, 2012!
THE TUDOR SECRET, Book I in the Elizabeth I Spymaster Chronicles
THE CONFESSIONS OF CATHERINE DE MEDICI
THE LAST QUEEN

Divia--"LOTR = Lord of the Rings in my mind..."Madeleine--Yes I had to think about that one too.."

LOL Ladies. After I wrote that & clicked submit, I then remembered that Lord of the Rings has the same initials :D ...heehee :p

C.W. gortner--"I also really liked Earthly Joys and A Respectable Trade."

I have been thinking about those two books, but what put me off EJ is the thought that it's a book about a gardener? And I hate gardening! :D But then again I hate cooking but I buy tons of cook books  ....I call them my pornography :D

Another PG book that I enjoyed was 'The Little House' and I also liked the TV movie of it starring Francesca Annis as the MIL from hell.

This is my favorite so far, too. Although I've quite a few yet to catch up on...
