I loved The White Queen. It sounds as if The Red Queen isn't quite as good but perhaps this is something to do with the main character?

Just spotted a blurb up over at Goodreads. Here's the last bit,
With her links to Melusina, and to the founder of the house of Luxembourg, together with her reputation for making magic, she is the most haunting of heroines.
I'm guessing the Melusine drinking game will be in full swing come October :D

I think I will buy this one and not bother with the White and Red Queens. There is not much known about Jacquetta Woodville and I would be interested in reading PG's interpretation of her character.

I'm actually in the same position, except my drink of choice is Coca-Cola. I expect that I will be so hyper-caffeinated in October that I will be able to triple my work productivity and will be named Employee of the Year. I've already spent the bonus I will receive.
