I enjoyed this book, but I didn't have a lot of patience with the whole magic thing. Like the idea of Elziabeth and her mother blowing up a storm to wreck to wreck the fleet. I don't know if the theme continues in the next book, but I'm going to read it soon. :)

So, I finally got around to seeing the series. How many episodes does the book cover?
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

I think it's the other way round ie I think the TV series covered the first 2 books - White and Red Queen but it's ages since it was on here so I might be wrong.

I thought the TV series covered: The White Queen, The Red Queen and The Kingmaker's Daughter which would make sense given the storylines involved but as I have never read (and am unlikely to read) these books, I can't say for certain. I think I would also be unlikely to watch a follow-up series unless it was better cast and better acted than the first one. The BBC is seriously losing its grip.

I liked the actor who played Richard III, but not the others so much. Might watch the next series, if only out of curiosity.

It wasn't well reviewed over here which, I think, is why the BBC dropped out of making the follow-up.

The version I got was from Starz. Would they make a new series?

As with most of these large-scale TV productions and like The White Queen which was a combined effort by the UK (BBC), French and other contributors, I believe The White Princess is being produced by a consortium of which Starz forms part. Starz would just have been the provider that picked up the first series for for viewing in the US. The BBC were definitely not interested in a follow-up and I suspect it is likely to get a prime-time slot (if any slot at all) in the UK as the ratings were not good and the reviews understandably bad. It will probably turn up on Amazon here but not sure that many people will be upset if we don't get it at all. I have limited experience of Starz productions (one series of which I couldn't even manage to finish one episode) and I think that was an Amazon offering in the UK.
