12) The Casual Vacancy by J. K. Rowling; finished 3/23/14; Great characterization although I didn't have much sympathy for most of the characters, but I guess that was the intent.

13) A King's Ransom by Sharon Kay Penman; finished 4/16/14; another super book by Sharon. I am always amazed at her impeccable research and her wonderful, descriptive writing. I will miss the Angevins.

17) I Am Livia by Phyllis T. Smith; finished 5/10/14; This Livia is kinder and gentler that Robert Graves' Livia. It deals with the teenage Livia through the Battle of Actium, so the action is before that of Graves' novel.

18) Dark Enquiry by Deanna Raybourn; finished 5/17/14; I'm sad that I finished the last of the novels in this series. I'm going to read (right away!) the two novellas featuring Lady Julia and Brisbane and I have the novella to be released in June on order.
