Still re-reading "Gates of Fire," by Steven Pressfield.

But since it's been so hot here this week I just haven't been in the mood to read, so I'm barely at page 100. It's a good thing I already know the story, lol.

I much prefer his Genghis Khan series to his Caesar series.

He's very readable though. I can't think of an author who can write page turners better than him, without realising you've suddenly read fifty plus pages in no time.

Few newsagencies will bother to ask for concession card ID's. Mum often buys my bus tickets as I forget and she's never had a problem with it - and if there is, just lie and say it's for your kid!
