Tomorrow marks the first time in twelve days I haven't had to go to work or spend the day writing an essay for university. I worked eleven of those days, all through last weekend. I can't wait for it. :D

Those Poul Anderson novels listed on your site, Margaret, seem very interesting. I've always been intrigued by Harold Hardrada. I don't know where I'll track them down though.

I think he's skipping forward a bit because he wants to go beyond Alfred's life. Sword Swong was set ten years before Alfred's death so one more with him involved would be about right for a projected eight-part series if Aethelfaed becomes intricate to the story after The Burning Land.
