I consider the Gardella books to be my "fun" reading - well, okay, reading is fun, in general, for me, no matter what -- but sometimes I need to take a break from "heavier" novels and just escape into something a bit lighter -- and where I don't have to keep all the "begats" straight!

I very seldom put a book down once I've started reading but one that I did was a classic -- ANNA KARENINA -- I felt absolutely suffocated by the details. I need for my my own imagination to be able to soar -- just give me enough details to get me airborne!

I read all kinds of historical blogs/forums but only post here and there -- my interest in Richard III just "happened" a couple of years ago -- so I'm still catching up!
