Yeah, as the series went on, Elizabeth and Nathaniel took a back seat and, although I still enjoyed the books, I missed having them be the center of the story.

I actually enjoyed the first one -- INTO THE WILDERNESS -- the best -- I've always been much more interested in Elizabeth and Nathaniel than the rest of the "gang" -- but I have enjoyed the other books in the series as well -- I would highly recommend them.
