I have a copy that I picked up on a previous freebie sale. Still working on The Light Heart by Elswyth Thane. Very good, but I keep getting distracted reading up on the internet kerfuffle over Amy's Baking Company and Kitchen Nightmares. Oh my...
I should...

The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.

Surprisingly I'm actually enjoying this book. I thought it'd be the same as Harold Fry which I did not finish, but this one is better.
He killed multiple people including children and destroyed the home of hundreds of others. He's mixed up like any other killer. So I don't have much pity for him. That being said - all of this takes place outside the book. We only know about the events when we meet a new character in ...

I was not really happy with lastnights episode of Game of Thrones. The only standout was Jaime and Brienne.....There is such limited time frame now and I thought Theon's inclusion was truly gross. SPOILER I don't get the point of including Theon with two girls who of course have to be naked and then...
That wall climb certainly added to the drama for me- I have a shocking fear of heights so watching it really gave me the yips :) What about those pickled foetuses - creepy or what? Don't know about elsewhere, but in NZ they have the irritating habit of not releasing the DVDs of the ...
There's a lot to cover in Bk 3 - the original edition was so large that it was later reissued as a 2-book version, thereby creating endless confusion for readers :)
I know-I kept wondering if I had bought the right amount of books, but I did :D . Did anyone feel that the la...
Bec, the producers said at the beginning of the season that they weren't going to be able to do the whole book. They are just going with half, plus some parts of Counting Crows. Three more episodes - wonder if they are going to try to do all three weddings?
They are running ou...

I finally finished 'Insurrection' by Robyn Young. It was a bit slow in the beginning but improved later on. I will now read the follow up 'Renegade' and then wait for the third and final book in the Bruce trilogy.
I think you're probably right Bec - the 9th ep is called Rains of Castamere which I think is fairly self-explanatory to those who've read the book. I think they might also put the battle on the Wall in the last ep (if they don't do it before obviously!) Watched this week's ep la...

I think most of the events happen in SOS and that is probably why I found Feast for Crows hard going. And there were no Tyrion chapters. Even ADWD was not so WOW as Swords.......I think the producers will incorporate the last 1/3 of the book with the entire Feast for Crows for the 4th season of Game...
