Apparently we have had more than 100 days where the temperatures are more than 20C (68F) which is a new record. Not sure when it is going to get cooler than that. Not this week at least.

Which book should be book of the month for May 2010?

I know we have only just finished voting for April, but I wanted to get back on track so that we have a bit more notice of the upcoming months book of the month.

Therefore, it is time to nominate your suggestions for May's book of the month.

Suggestions will close on 26 March.

I don't tend to do it that often because I keep lists on my lists on my lists, but this was a total impulse buy that I couldn't possibly leave on the table. Turns out I should have!

[quote=""Jemidar""] I buy most of my books from overseas as it's much, much cheaper than buying in Australia. Books are about the equivalent of half price if I buy from the US or UK. The main expense I have to look out for though is shipping! As I buy mostly new books, I'm a big fan of The Book Depo...

[quote=""Jemidar""] Okay I'll admit it, the title sucked me in :p . And to cut a long story short, I saw this book while browsing on Amazon but cant find a blurb for it anywhere so was wondering if anyone had heard anything about it? It's available for pre-order and is released at the end of April 2...

Also when I was at the library the other night they had more books on the sale table so ended up getting the following for 10c each. Mids...
