Finally I read a slew of really engrossing and well written books! Don't think I'm going to reach my goal of reading 52 this yr because of buying and selling a house, but at least they've been amazing lately :)

I'm in a reading slump :( After 2 fantastic novels (To The Tower Born and The Color of Light) I've started 3 new ones, each of which I couldn't finish. I give a book 50-60 pgs before I decide "I'm just not that into you". That's been the case with the last 3. So frustrating.

I finally got a Kindle and of course I love it! Now I can read anywhere. I only buy free or inexpensive (<$3) books but soooo convenient. I'm always a few yrs behind the "tech wagon" LOL

'The Golden Hour' was one of the BEST novels I've read in a long time. A coming of age story of a girl in Italy during the German occupation in WW2. Beautifully written, multi story levels, and just wonderfully engaging. Highly recommend!!!
