I’m reading The Library of Lost and Found by Phaedra Patrick, contemporary fiction with a quirky main character who finds out her grandmother is still alive although she was told she’d died. Family secrets, fairy stories and mental health problems are the themes.

I’m reading The Unfinished Business of Eadie Browne by Freya North, contemporary fiction about an unusual girl’s life spanning about 25 years from her childhood in the 1970s. The blurb says it’s a moving love letter to youth.

I’ll have a look at that one, Madeleine. There used to be lots of book forums at one time but most of them seem to have gone by the wayside. I think Facebook changed things.
