I have Prime in the US and I like it. I use the lending library and occasionally, I watch movies. I like being able to order what I need when I need it and not having to worry whether it qualifies for free shipping.

I enjoyed the E Peters series, especially the first few books. She has a great sense of humor.

I quit the series after reading the 4th book twice to figure out what I missed while everyone around me was raving about it. lol

Life's too short. I liked Sworn Sword by James Aitchenson, but I haven't gotten to the second book yet. Maybe there's a third??

I have a second generation Kindle (with keyboard) that I keep as a backup. I also have the Paperwhite (first generation), which I love, love, love. Like Amanda, I have an iPad, but I don't like to read with it. People 3 seats behind me could read it, it's that big. lol I could read with a Kindle app...

This has been my experience too for about the past year. I have found, though, that the books I want often are available from BD thru AZN. It's a bit distasteful b/c it appears BD is trying to avoid its own free shipping policy.

Just change the darn policy...
