I've never read a book by this author but have a couple on my TBR pile. On Fantastic Fiction it likens her to Maeve Binchy and I like Maeve Binchy.
I have read everything I by Maeve Binchy. I don't see any comparison whatsoever!

I really really want to like her books. i love anything set during the world wars, and many of her books are, but I just can't get past the atrocious writing! I've tried 4 different ones. Is it just me? Does anyone her like her? Are any of her books better than the rest?

my life will be very different this time next year, I'll have a new baby to cope with in addition to my daughter. She'll be 4 and since I'm due in July the baby will be about 5 months old. I hope we are all able to adjust to the baby and being a one income household again. I'm a tad nervous!

I really enjoyed both seasons, especially Eric! I am loving the books, I'm up to #7 right now. They're strange, but pretty entertaining!
