I am ordering a copy as soon as possible (i'm currently in the middle of Devil's Brood - i postponed the pleasure of reading it till Lionheart comes out).

I just wanted to ask if there's John (the Prince John one) in this. I looove John but reviews don't mention him, so i was wondering :)

Great celebration today of a Victory Day. I live on the eighteenth floor, so i can see a lot of the city from my window, and the sky was lit with multiple fireworks. And i saw helicopters with flags heading for the Victory Parade in the morning. Anyway, great celebration for a great day. And i'm bac...
No kidding. I almost quit that book midway through after the 'Red Wedding' but was glad to have finished it. BTW, a bit of background - Martin has written four of the seven books he meant for the series, and its been ten years since the fourth one. Many fans are rabid about this, infu...
Oh my goodness you must read Mays Pliocene Exiles!
I will now! :)
I think the difference with Martin is that the Ice & Fire series has over time gained the crossover appeal of a big blockbuster, and people tend to follow trends and read what they think eve...
That's an awfully big statement to make, Sintra! And it's one I disagree with bigtime. I'm sure others would agree. I'm not alone in thinking that Guy Gavriel Kay's books have been a massive contribution to fantasy. He's commonly placed up there with Tolkien. So too is Stephen...
Isn't Arya a couple of years older than Bran in the book? I think she's 9 and he's about 7. I couldn't stand Arya in the book, thought she was an irritating little pain and all that fight training and creeping about was tedious, it reminded me of Luke Skywalker and Yoda! I quite...
