The new season of the tv show, I believe, deals with the 2nd half of book 3, not book 4, Feast of Crows.

Book 4, Feast of Crows

Can't believe the 4th book of this series got such poor reviews on amazon and most people say it's a dull read compared to other books in the series. I'm currently about 300 pages in and I'm loving it. It's probably my favourite book so far. It's easier reading than the other books and I, for one, a...

I gave up on Deadwood after the first season. Had to record the shows and spend 2 to 3 hrs. watching each episode, playing scenes over and over again trying hard to understand the archaic dialogue. I just got tired of trying to figure to out. If they had used normal language, I would have enjoyed it...

PBS always ticks me off. I love Downton Abbey, but every season so far, I get to watch the first episode of the season in early Jan., but then I go overseas for 2 weeks. When I return my only option is to wait for the DVD to be released, rent it and watch the rest of the episodes in a marathon sitti...

Well, this proves I have no luck with electronic devices. My 6 week old ereader died on the subway tonight with the message that I need to recharge the battery. Ok, I get home and try to do that (this is my first time recharging it) and nothing is happening! I spent 20 min. on the phone with custome...

Not fiction, but just read Like Me by country singer Chely Wright. Have started 2 books, Most Evil in the true crime category (by Steve Hodel), which I checked out of the library and Steven Saylor's The Seven Wonders, the first ebook that I purchased this weekend to read on my Kobo Glow. I had to ca...

Mythica, I plan to get a wall adaptor. The store where I bought my ereader said they usually have them, but were temporarily out. I called the Kobo helpline (they were open 24 hrs) and got everything straightened out. My ereader was fully charged but there wasn't any way I could tell. That's what ha...

[quote=""Misfit""]I don't recall the Kindle taking too long to charge before I could fire it up. From what I understand, ebook pricing is mainly set by publishers, but I agree about not wanting to pay the same or more. Does your library offer any ebook lending options? Kindle ebook lending via OverD...

Doesn't the initial charging via your computer connection take many hours? That's what I was told at the store. I may have to keep my computer on all day, and maybe all night. And I noticed the strange ebook pricing. Some books are good deals and some are not. Ken Follett's Winter of the World is ac...
