Some 500 words behind but I'm calling it a night. Major headache and the kids won't let me write. I should be able to make it up tomorrow though.

I'm going to win. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe not. My three-peat will be reality. Then I can take next year off (except that I'm not at all likely to do that).

I wrote about 32,000 words, and then a number of things conspired to end my NaNo experience this year. Some paying work came in that I had to attend to. I hit a point in my novel where I really had to go back and reorganize a bunch of chapters before I felt comfortable going on. I fell in love. The last was the real killer. But I don't mind. Life is good.
