Default John Marshal

I was approached by Christy Robinson and asked if I would write an article for her genealogy blog. I've done one about John Marshal, father of William. It's mostly taken from my website, but with new snippets of research added in as he's still an ongoing project for me outside my writer's life. Anyway, I thought I'd post the url here in case anyone is interested. http://rootingforancestors.blogspot....t-post-by.html

Terrific post, EC. John Marshal is clearly a character with whom you have an strong affinity and it shows in A Place Beyond Courage, which I think is possibly my favourite of your novels to date.

Hi Elizabeth.

A very intriguing and engaging article. Personally I can fully understand your passion in respect of John Marshal and his sons, they were so influential to the way English history developed I find it amazing that their lives are not taught in schools.

Until I read your wonderful books, I did not know of their existence. However I am glad that I have learned so much about them from your wonderful stories.
