Ok -- I know I'm a little late to the party (story of my life), but congrats to EC on the RNA award. Having read four Chadwick books in the past six weeks (with my goal to have read all of them by the end of the year), I have to say thanks for hours of enjoyable, engaging, and enlightening reading. (Of course, my family is less enthralled because I tend to get rather grumpy when they jolt me out of medieval times with their annoying demands for the mundane, such as cooked meals and a clean house -- oh, really -- cold cereal and a bit of dust never hurt anyone.)

I almost never post here (because, as some folks here know, I spend way too much time at paperbackswap), but I love to lurk -- even though lurking significantly endangers my TBR stack and my pocketbook. I'm going to try to be a bit more active here, but regardless, I appreciate both the seriousness and levity of the discussion on these forums. So, thanks to all.

The nerve of them wanting hot food!

Nice to see you around here Deb and hope to see more of you. If not, I know where to find you

Thank you Alisha-Marie and Deb. :-)
I think it safe to say that while writing the books, I tend to live with dust and cereal a lot of the time!

I'm working on fixing some historical errors in my WIP today and from where I sit I can see a dust bunny bigger than my fist. Yikes. What we suffer for art...

By the way, I finished To Defy a King today and it was wonderful.
