Very nice, and I echo the prior comments. I really do like the background and text colors as they're a nice combination on the eyes - much better for reading. And thanks for including so many great links.

Very nice and complete! I'm fascinated by the Akashic Records. I'd love to learn more about this aspect of your research.

Thanks everyone re the website.
I had been thinking about upgrading it for a while. My original designer was a friend in the Romantic Novelists Association who wrote erotic fiction part time and wanted to have a go at web design. A few of us were in need of websites as the Internet began to take off and she was willing to do them very cheaply as long as we could be her guinea pigs! It all worked really well until her writing career took off and she didn't have time to work on the websites, so I decided to wish her well and have a remake with a different designer. C.W. The Akashic Records are a fantastic resource (used in tandem with other more conventional ones). I was going to put up a couple of examples on the site, but we ran out of time. However I will be doing soon. I have linked to a couple of blog articles on them and my current blog has a piece on John Marshal himself showing us the whereabouts of the lost Newbury Castle. I have 'met' William Marshal, Henry II, Eleanor of Aquitaine, King John, Rosamund Clifford via this resource and the results have been fascinating. Roger Bigod's fondness for hats in The Time of Singing came via the Akashic Record, as did Ida's design skills with needlework. The 'cheesy foot' incident in the bedchamber is taken verbatim. One day I am going to write about what William Marshal did in the Holy Land. I have some material already garnered through this strange, unconventional but to me, convincing resource. I'm still not sure how it works, but hey, I can drive a car but I don't understand the first thing about what's under the bonnet!
