Gee, I don't sign in for a couple of days and look what happens .

Hi, MLE,

I will probably get there as I feel my interests wandering a lot more towards Europe lately, like I want the big picture with ALL the gossip, but for now, I'm just finding my way slowly through obvious connections .

Thanks for the warning Divia! I'll just have to make sure life doesn't interfere with my online time in future .

Hi LoveHistory,

Pleased to meet you too. And yes, TSP is quite a fun read .

Hi Anna,

Thanks for the welcome! I've been interested in The Scarlet Pimpernel for a while (loved the Richard E. Grant TV series) so thought it was about time I read it!

Hi Miss Moppet,

I'll read anything remotely Tudor, which is not always a good thing .

I finally started reading TSP because someone gave The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig for Christmas, and although it wasn't bad, it wasn't great either and more than a little frivolous, so I thought it was about time to read the original. I've been meaning to quite literally for years!

Hi Madeline,

I'm starting to read more Medieval stuff lately too.

And I can see I'm going to have fun here. What a nice, friendly bunch of people .

You do know it's because of you that I'm here, don't you? I found the link on your website...along with lots of other interesting stuff.

And BTW, I loved The Traitors Wife and now have Hugh & Bess on order .
Thanks, Jemidar! Glad you decided to come over!
