I just wanted to post here about the availability of my historical novel, The Six Expressions of Death, for free lending on the Amazon Kindle.

The year is 1563, and Japan is torn by wars between ambitious lords and generals seeking to win greater domains for themselves – and perhaps rise to be ruler of the island nation. While fierce samurai and ashigaru fight and die in their thousands on the lowland battlefields, relative peace exists in the remote Kiso Mountains.

When a mysterious exile is murdered on the road outside his village, a poor country samurai, Daikawa Tadashi, is suddenly drawn into a series of murderous plots which could lead to invasion if he cannot unmask the killer in time.

The keen-minded warrior must elude assassins who seek to kill him to protect the murderer's secrets, treading a careful path amid the schemes of powerful, violent men, with no more than his own wits and a sharp sword to solve the mystery and save his own life.
