I do hope this is not too much of an imposition. When I joined HFO, around the beginning of the year, I put a post up asking if there was anyone who might be interested in reviewing my historical fiction novel: 'Terra Nullius'. I didn't get any response.
I am in contact with Carla Nayland, I actually wrote a review of ‘Paths of Exile’. Carla felt that, in her own words: ‘From the extract I read, I thought Terra Nullius was likely to prove harrowing, and would need more time and energy than I can manage at present.’ She expressed a little surprise that I’d had no takers when offering it up for review, and then suggested that I could perhaps approach and offer you a review copy; as you may have missed the original post, and you at least are on the same side of the planet.
Basically, it is the 19th century through the eyes of the then native population of Tasmania: a dramatisation of the available facts, from a totally different perspective than is usually portrayed.
